How to Set Up & Recovery Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in KoinBX Web Portal?

1. 2FA (Google Authentication)

Step 1: Visit the KoinBX Portal and Log in to your account.

Step 2: Click the Profile icon in the top right corner of the home page.

Step 3: Click ‘Account’

Step 4: Click ‘Security’ and you will find the ‘2FA’ section

Step 5: Click ‘Google Authentication’

To Enable:

Step 1: To Enable 2FA, Download ‘Google Authenticator App’ (Android/IOS)

Step 2: Copy or scan the QR code and paste it into the Google Authenticator app.

Step 3: Enter the 6-digit Google authentication code in the shown field.

Step 4: Click ‘Enable’.

(2FA - Google Authentication will be enabled)

To Disable:

Step 1: Open the Authenticator app and copy the code.

Step 2: Enter the code in the shown field.

Step 3: Click ‘Disable’.

(2FA - Google Authentication will be disabled)

2. 2FA (Email Authentication)

Step 1: Visit the KoinBX Portal and Log in to your account.

Step 2: Click the Profile icon in the top right corner of the home page.

Step 3: Click ‘Account’

Step 4: Click ‘Security’ and you will find the ‘2FA’ section.

Step 5: Click ‘Email Authentication’

To Enable:

Step 1: Enter your registered email ID in the shown field.

Step 2: Click the ‘Enable’ option.

Step 3: Enter the OTP sent to your registered email ID.

Step 4: Click ‘Enable’.

(2FA - Email Authentication will be enabled)

To Disable:

Step 1: To disable Email Authentication, enter your registered email address and click ‘Disable’.

Step 2: Enter the OTP sent to your registered email ID.

Step 3: Click ‘Disable’.

(2FA - Email Authentication will be disabled).

Note: You can only use one 2FA option at a time, either Google Authenticator or email.
